I am undergoing chemo for follicular b cell lymphoma?

I was diagnosed in June of last year with lymphoma. I just had a scan a week ago showing the lower portion of my lung is collapsed and also showing that there are new lymph nodes in the upper portion of my lungs. My oncologist doesn't seem worried but I am. He wants to wait 2 months for a pet scan is this common?
