Can you get a virus while using ultimate boot cd?

Can you get a virus while using ultimate boot cd? Can an iso get a virus before it was made because after i made the iso i scanned the computer and found there where 2 rats in the ultimate boot cd folder on my c: could the viruses have gotten on there while ultimate boot cd was making itself and if so is it a big deal or does ultmate boot cd only allow certain files while its making the iso. Can i virus get in an iso after it is already made? And can a virus get on a cd that is burned if the cd is already made and has burned items on it? Plzz answer all these questions.
